A message from our manager

Where to start? It’s been a difficult season, yes, but as a club we have come so far. To think near mid July the club weren’t sure how many teams, if any, at the senior end we would have. And to have our first team finish the season on -8 points with one of the youngest teams, put together last minute is a credit to the players and my coaching team.

The reserves will finish their season next Saturday and our U19s are still fighting in the Cup. I must also give a mention to U17s who represented the club so well getting to their Cup Final. Thank you to all the junior teams for your support and standing up as mascots and thanks for bringing all the noise you do when we play it really helps!

To our Supporters’ Club and supporters thank you for all the great support, patience and help you have given me personally this season, the players and coaches are very grateful too, it’s been our honour to represent you all season.

To the Committee, our Chairman & our Director of Football, thank you for giving me the position of first team manager of this great club. It’s been a tough season for us all, but we’ve gained very special bonds and moments we have all worked for and deserve. All the help , high-5’s, handshakes and hugs have made me and my family feel right at home here.

To my Coaching Team, we did it lads. It was tough, hard going and difficult at times but I know we are on the right path. Your help, time on the phone, travelling, training and games has been unbelievable. And to your partners and children, thank you for your understanding and time it takes to do this job together.

To my wife Linda & daughter Sophia. Thank you for all your support and understanding.

To my players, you lads are amazing. The effort you all put in day in and out. The way you represent this club is a true credit to you all.
