Aaron Wilkinson appointed Assistant Head Coach

Joining from North Ballymena Rangers, Aaron had this to say about joining The Town…

"I’m delighted and extremely proud to announce that I have been appointed Assistant Manager of Banbridge Town Football Club.

Firstly, I would like to sincerely thank Chairman David Maxwell and Manager Ronnie Haughey, a highly respected figure in Irish League football, for giving me this opportunity and, most importantly, for trusting me with the chance to prove what I can do at this level.

Banbridge Town is a proud, well-established football club with a fantastic history, and I’m incredibly excited to become part of the club and get started. I understand the responsibility that comes with representing a club of this stature, and I’m determined to give everything I have to help the club move forward.

Throughout my coaching career, I’ve been fortunate to work within Irish League environments at clubs including Larne, Ballymena United and Carrick Rangers, working across the pathway from youth football through to senior level. Most recently, I have gained valuable senior experience with North Ballymena Rangers FC, which has further developed my understanding of the demands, standards and expectations of senior football.

I now look forward to bringing all of that experience, energy and ambition to Banbridge Town, while continuing to learn from Ronnie’s extensive experience and knowledge of Irish League football.

The aim is simple — to work hard, develop players, build a strong environment and help bring this great club back to where it belongs.

I’m looking forward to working closely with Ronnie, the coaching staff, players, committee and everyone connected with Banbridge Town. I know there will be challenges along the way, but I’m ready to embrace them and give the club everything I have.
