Banbridge Town Support NI Football League #NOTINOURGAME Campaign

Club
Banbridge Town Football Club are proud to support the NI Football League’s new awareness campaign, #NotInOurGame, aimed at tackling violence against women and using the power of football to inspire positive change across our community.
This important campaign brings together clubs, players, and supporters from across the League with one clear and unified message: there is no place for violence against women.
As part of the initiative, players and clubs will stand together in solidarity, using a simple yet powerful visual gesture – a single hand raised with the palm facing forward – symbolising a collective call to end violence against women.
The campaign comes at a time when the issue remains a serious concern in Northern Ireland. With 30 women having been violently killed since 2020, the League is using its platform to raise awareness, encourage open conversation, and promote responsibility throughout the football community.
Throughout the week, NIFL and its member clubs will deliver a coordinated programme of activity across digital and matchday platforms. This will include strong campaign messaging, player-led content, and contributions from clubs, reinforcing a united, League-wide stance.
Supporters are encouraged to play their part by engaging with the campaign online, sharing messages of support, and standing alongside their club using #NotInOurGame.
Together, we reiterate: there is no place in society for violence against women. Banbridge Town Football Club stands united with the NI Football League and its member clubs in calling for change.
