Ihermeje and Povall sign

No stranger to The Town, Victor Ihemeje (left) rejoins the club.

Robbie has his say, “Victor comes back to the club after a period away. He is a striker that wants to score goals and knows how to do so. He is also a striker that works hard of the ball and for the team.”

The striker had this to say, “I’m glad to be back at a club that has a special place in my heart. I want to play as many games as I can and help improve the team as the morale and aura of the club is amazing. It was a no brainer for me to come back and get involved.”

Luke Povall (right) joins from Drogheda United Academy. 

Rock hailed the talented young defender saying, “Luke is a player I have watched for the last number of months. He is a strong Centre back who is calm on the ball and is a strong tackler.” 

We caught up with Luke who said “ I’m happy to be here and excited for the challenge ahead. It’s a great opportunity for me and I’m delighted to have signed.”
